More about: The Ninth Wave
The Ninth Wave have dropped a surprise new song today, the contemplative 'Piece and Pound Coins'. It follows July's return single 'Maybe You Didn't Know'.

A piano loop repeats throughout the two-and-a-half-minute piece, which is atmospheric and, truly, needs a new Twilight movie to be made for it so that it can feature on the soundtrack.
"I wrote this song about a friend who passed away a number of years ago. I’ve never really felt like I wanted to/could write about him for a number of reasons, but I guess the main one was because that for a long time, I wouldn’t have known what to write" frontman Haydn Park-Patterson said.
It's reportedly part of a forthcoming (in 2022) second LP from the Scottish band. It follows July's 'Maybe You Didn't Know'.
"The song is about finding comfort in the uncomfortable and being able to hide yourself behind an overbearing and engulfing undefined fear" the band's Haydn Park-Patterson said.
