Multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer Daniel Briskin has just released his new single ‘Ca$h Cow’, the first in a series of singles that will arrive as we move into the new year. The song arrives as Briskin is supporting Tom Grennan on tour.

‘Ca$h Cow’ is a short and sweet track, full of throwback hip hop references that uncovers manipulation and exploitation in the music industry. Following on from his Forever Was A Feeling mixtape, the new singles see Daniel Briskin really come into his own as an artist. Here’s what he said about ‘Ca$h Cow’:

“It’s about the idea of standing up to exploitation and about how I was in this dark place, but I'm coming out the other side, and I'm not here to be taken advantage of or turned into a cash cow. In the music world — and everywhere really — you come across a lot of manipulative people but I'm not going to stoop to their levels. I'm going to stay exactly where I am, and who I am. And I know who I am. If people are trying to fuck with me, well… Let them try.”
