Spiritualized have just revealed that they will be releasing a new album, entitled Everything Was Beautiful, set for release 25 February 2022 on Bella Union. They shared the news with lead single and album opener ‘Always Together With You’ and tour dates which will bring them to the UK in 2022.

The single gives us a taste of the musical intricacy we can expect on the record, with a massive range of instruments and dozens of musicians involved in the project. The song was originally released as a demo in 2014, so fans have been waiting a long time to hear this one on an album.

They spoke about what was going on while the album was being made:

“There was so much information on it that the slightest move would unbalance it but going around in circles is important to me. Not like you’re spiralling out of control but you’re going around and around and on each revolution, you hold onto the good each time. Sure, you get mistakes as well, but you hold on to some of those too and that’s how you kind of... achieve. Well, you get there.”
