Charli XCX has just announced her upcoming album Crash with a huge new collaboration with Caroline Polacheck and Christine and the Queens in the form of ‘New Shapes’. Crash arrives 18 March next year. She also announced an extensive world tour which will come to the UK next May.

It looks like nostalgia for ‘80s pop is going to remain a big part of the charts in the new year, since ‘New Shapes’ is brimming with that retro synth sound we’ve had on repeat.
