It's called angel in realtime.
Gang of Youths will face mortality head on on their third album, announced today. angel in realtime. will come in February, and will—as with many of Gang of Youths' songs—focus on the death of frontman Dave Le’aupepe's father.
New single 'tend the garden', which dropped this morning, is a tight and magnificent indie track that dabbles in several other genres, including dream pop and psychedelia. Recent releases 'the man himself', 'unison' and 'the angel of 8th ave.' will also appear on the record.
Gang of Youths will support Sam Fender on his massive arena tour, starting next week. They'll do a headline tour of their own in 2022.
