Mattiel have announced details of their third album Georgia Gothic, along with lead single, ‘Jeff Goldblum’, a homage to the titular actor.
‘Jeff Goldblum’ is an elegant slice of electronic tinged guitar rock, with a dance-hall groove being packed alongside the blissful vocals delivered by singer Mattiel Brown. "My crush on Jeff Goldblum is very real" she said of the song's subject matter.

To coincide with this announcement, Mattiel have announced a UK and European tour, set to take place in May 2022.
‘Georgia Gothic’ is set to be released on 18 March next year, and in the words of Mattiel is a record formed by: “Some faraway place that just Jonah and I could go where there would be no distractions, nothing else going on, and we could turn everything off and only focus on writing songs. Everything happened backwards. Normally, you’d have friends that make a band ... with us, we started making music from the jump, and then became homies.”
