PinkPantheress, the brand new artist whose debut mixtape we ranked number 5 in our Best Albums of 2021 List, has been named the BBC's Sound of 2022.

It's no small win: previous winners of the title include Adele, Sam Smith, HAIM and Sigrid. The BBC has called PinkPantheress "mysterious".
