There's some palatial riffs to be had

Kid Kapichi have fired off 2022 with their biggest tune to date. 'New England' is a political livewire with an inspired feature from Bob Vylan.

"I'll cast my vote regardless," Jack Wilson sings as, in the accompanying video, he unseeingly puts a cross on a proffered piece of paper. It's just one example of how 'New England' deals with the exasperating political landscape.

Plus, the riffs are palatial and the melodies hooky as hell.

The band's Jack Wilson said: "New England is a song that targets the blindly patriotic, grabs them by the shoulders, shakes them and shouts ‘wake up’". "We’ve been mugged off and sold a lie time and time again and the scary thing is people seem to still be making the same mistakes."
