More about:

Muse are back with a new, heavier sound. 'Won't Stand Down' is an unsettling rock song with a gargantuous rhtyhm section. Mixed by Dan Lancaster (Bring Me The Horizon, Enter Shikari), it's no real surprise that 'Won't Stand Down' is so heavy and huge.

There's even some polite screamo action in amongst the fray.

It's worth noting that the cover art for the new single looks almost identical to the visual identity of rock band Sleep Token.

"'Won’t Stand Down’ is a song about standing your ground against bullies, whether that be on the playground, at work or anywhere," Matt Bellamy said.
