New York grunge rockers Momma have followed up November's single 'Medicine'—then released with news that they had signed to Lucky Number—with another cut, the impressive 'Rockstar'.

Glorious guitar solo or not, 'Rockstar' is a blinding piece of laconical grunge rock with big walls of guitars and layered vocals.

Momma are coming to the UK so as to support Wet Leg and Snail Mail.

"Etta and I wanted to write a song about making it big, and becoming rock stars. We didn’t want to take anything too seriously, lyrically, or musically. We just wanted the song to sound big,” Allegra Weingarten said of her and her co-vocalist Etta Friedman.
