Thank god for BANKS return. Prepping to release her fourth album Serpentina, the singer has dropped the new single, ‘I Still Love You’. Her most personal track yet, this ones for the sad girls that love hard.

Reminiscent of fan favourites like ‘You Should Know Where I’m Coming From’, ‘To The Hilt’ and ‘Crowded Places’, ‘I Still Love You’ is a perfect BANKS ballad. With a simple synth-organ backing and a heavenly finale, this is an amazing somber sister to her most recent single, ‘Holding Back’.

Finally releasing a song she’s been sat on for a long time, ‘I Still Love You’ has been tucked away in the archive for a while. Talking about the track, BANKS said “I’ve held this song tight for over six years. It felt like a secret I wanted to keep just for myself. But I finally feel not only ready but so excited to share this with the world.”

“It’s about loving someone you don’t talk to anymore. Missing the little things about them. Even the things you thought you hate. I hope you feel like you are sitting next to me when you listen. And I hope it’s as special to those who hear it as it is to me.”
