An amalgamation of Perfume Genius and Phoebe Bridgers, Alaska's Quinn Christopherson has today shared his new single '2005'. It'll make up his forthcoming debut album, which is yet to have a title, track-list or release date.

"I wanna go back to simpler times," Quinn sings on the synth-lead piece, which has the energy of an acoustic ballad but is exalted in electronics and angelic backing vocals.

"'2005’ has big rose colored glasses energy," Quinn says. "It wasn’t the best time for me, but ‘2005’ is a collection of memories that I can look back on fondly. I know we don’t ever get do-overs, but this is my way of creating my own.”
