More about:

Rina Sawayama has followed 'This Hell' from her forthcoming album Hold The Girl with a new single. 'Catch Me In The Air' is a pop dedication to her mum, who raised her as a single parent.

"Look at me now, I'm flying" Rina sings on the heartfelt anthem. "I really wanted to write about this weird relationship with single parents – you do catch each other in the air,” she said of the song, which she wrote in lockdown alongside Gracey and Oscar Scheller.

"We put in a key change to go into the chorus, at the end of the pre-chorus to make it lift and soar like a bird," she added.
