Waxahatchee and Jess Williamson have teamed up on a new project: together, they're called Plains and they have an album in the pipeline! Titled I Walked With You A Ways, the record got its first single last night in the form of 'Problem With It'.

This is a one-time collaboration that will include a North American tour. The coming together of two Americana greats, I Walked With You A Ways will feature the catchy 'Problem With It' and nine further tracks.

"I'm thrilled to announce this new project and album. I've felt a connection to Jess's songwriting and a kinship with her since we met years ago. Getting to lean into the influence of the music we both grew up with while also making something that feels current and fresh to me was a great experience and I'm so happy to finally share it," Waxahatchee aka Katie Crutchfield said of the collaboration.
