All of the ‘early bird’ tickets for next year’s T in the Park Festival in Scotland sold out this morning (July 10th) in record time.

Although this year’s festival only ended on Sunday evening (July 8th), fans eager to go to next year’s event – which will be the festivals fifteenth anniversary - had purchased all 40,000 of the tickets after just sixty-five minutes of them going on sale.

The 2008 edition of the festival – which will take place from July 11th-13th - will again be a three day event, after festival organisers hailed this year’s addition of the extra Friday an overwhelming success.

This morning’s sell-out is faster than last years early bird pre-sale which saw all the tickets snapped up in seventy minutes.
