Music is ditched for football...

Xfm Manchester have signed a deal with Man United – a move that will seemingly exasperate the sky blue half of the city.

The station says that it will be “bringing together Manchester's shared love of music and football” as it broadcasts live coverage of every single United home and away game.

Not only this, but every Friday the station will be hosting an interview with gaffer Alex Ferguson in the lead up to the weekend games.

The move sees the focus taken away from new, alternative music in favour of football – and unless you’re a Manchester United fan, that’s nothing less than torment.
