Amy Winehouse, Foo Fighters For Radio 1 Covers Album

Amy Winehouse and the Foo Fighters are amongst the artists appearing on a Radio 1 covers album to celebrate the BBC station’s 40th birthday.

The 40 song collection sees a hit song from every year from 1967-2006 covered by an select artist.

The Foo Fighters take on the Wings track ‘Band on the Run’, while the ever troubled Wino donates her rendition of ‘Cupid’ by Johnny Nash.

Other select nuggets are The Enemy butchering ‘Father & Son’, Franz Ferdinand’s take of David Bowie’s ‘Sound and Vision’, The Pigeon Detective dissecting Power of Love and Klaxons covering Blackstreet’s ‘No Diggity.’
