Laura Marling Copies Radiohead With New Album
Laura Marling has announced that her debut album will be released on a ‘song box’ format on February 4th.
The move echoes Radiohead’s recent decision to release their album, ‘In Rainbows,’ on a disc-box containing bonus material.
The ‘song box’ edition of Marling’s as-yet-untitled album will include the CD album, a set of mementos and exclusive concert tickets.
Fans will be able to redeem their tickets using Ticket Text technology. There is currently no price for the special edition of the album.
- Saw her on Later with Jools on Friday nite there; good song but talk about zilch stage presence... does she always perform in such a sullen manner failing to even as much as look at the audience ??? If she were genuinely that nervous I doubt she’d be able to take to the stage at all... strange little girl, and that Spice Girls t-shirt was a mistake surely...
- Her performance reflected her style mate. I’m sure live and not on TV there would be in between song banter. And with that voice i dont want much more than to hear her. Cute too.
- Up the Marling.
I agree with Matt, check out her YouTube clips.
- She’s incredible. The next Joni Mitchell if you ask me. To have that depth and personality in song at 17 is remarkable
- Laura Marling has bit of mystery about her and maybe doesn’t want to give too much away. theres a million female singers out there that annoy the FUCK out of me coz they shout their heads off, sing lyrics that a ten year old could write and get in everyones faces. its about her music, nothing else...
