  • ^^ They’re mentioned in The Rolling Stones blurb. They do deserve a place, as do many other acts including Manfred Mann(!), but the list couldn’t go on forever we’re afraid

  • They reckon 4/5 of the crowd at the USA crowd of LiveAid 85 went to see The Who on a video screen. There was nearly a riot in the power cut. Its like having a poll on Led Zep members and forgetting Plant or Page. The list cant go on but you’ve got Depeche Mode??
