Cadence Weapon - 'In Search of the Youth Crew'

New kid on the hip hop block is Rollie Pemberton, who goes under name Cadence Weapon, whose second album ‘Afterparty Babies’ is out in March. This, ‘In Search of the Youth Crew’, is an instantly accessible slice of urban music from the 22 year old Canadian. He is already well respected amongst his contemporaries, with the likes of Plan B singing his praises. The single should be a good indication of a new talent with new ideas to freshen up the hip hop scene, and progression from his electronically based debut. Watch out for the spoken outro to this track.
