Britney Spears' Father Granted Control Over Singer
Britney Spears’ father Jamie has received more fire power after a Los Angeles judge extended his temporary control of his troubled daughter’s legal and financial affairs until March 10.
L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz, who originally appointed Jamie Spears conservator of his daughter's estate, agreed that Spears Snr. should continue taking charge of the singer's affairs in a hearing on Thursday.
Spears' dad has shared responsibility for the troubled pop star's affairs with court-appointed observer Andrew Wallet since February 1.
Meanwhile, as Jamie battled it out in court, the pop-tart's mother Lynne, was spotted heading out of town at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday.
A conservatorship is granted by a court when it is deemed that a person, in this case Britney, cannot look after themselves.
