The Who’s Roger Daltrey has revealed that he gave away his guest ticket to see Led Zeppelin’s reunion concert at the O2 Arena.
Daltrey, who choose to auction the ticket, said that it would have been “morally wrong” for him to have gone to the concert last December.
"I did want to see Led Zeppelin and I could get a ticket but I felt bad about going,” he said.
“I didn't think it was right that I should have that privilege and thought it would be morally wrong for me to join the celebrity bandwagon that went.”
"Led Zep was incredibly generous and gave our charity four tickets which we auctioned," Daltrey explained.
Over 1 million people registered for just 9,000 pairs of tickets to see the veteran band reform for the one off concert.
Despite reports, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has said that the band are unable to consider playing any more concerts together until September, when commitments to other projects are due to end.
