A stripped structure baring easy comparisons to The White Stripes and an exuberance and hunger that their years would expect give The Old Romantic Killer Band’s debut single ‘You Don’t Know How To Love’ an ideal foundation for inviting pop rock blues.The Leeds duo, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Harry Johns and drummer Bunse, offer a raucous thumping guitar line that conjoins with smart drumming for perpetual consistency. Although there is nothing particularly enthralling in the duo’s debut single there is the basis for something inevitably more entertaining allowing for a steady build up of suspense for a collection of 12 songs on a LP.
