Kanye West has received three nominations for this years Black Entertainment TV Hip Hop Awards.
Other nominees include Mary J Blige and Alicia Keys, who have both received two nominations each.
Soul Singer Al Green, who is responsible for such songs as ‘Let’s Stay Together’ and ‘Love and Happiness’, is to receive a Lifetime Achievement award at the ceremony in Los Angeles on June 24th.
Singer-songwriter T-Pain leads the nominations tally with five, including three in the collaboration category for his work with Kanye West, Flo Rida and Chris Brown.
Nelly, Mariah Carey and Lil Wayne are all set to perform the at the awards, which honour black music.
