But it means travelling...

Flooded Radiohead Fans Offered Tickets For New Shows

Radiohead fans who were unable to attended the bands show in Washington earlier this week because of torrential rain have been offered tickets to alternate dates.

Concert promoter Live Nation, which was responsible for the band’s affected show at the Nissan Pavilion, says fans can attend the bands show at the Susquehanna Bank Centre in New Jersey on August 12th or tickets to a show of their choice at Nissan Pavilion.

In a statement, Live Nation said that although they had no control over the weather, “we certainly are disappointed that some fans did not make it to the venue.”

Despite the promoters ticket offer, fans have argued that the problems caused in Washington and the new dates go against Radiohead’s eco-friendly stance.

"One-third of the concert-goers that night were driving around in circles, burning fossil fuels all the while,” wrote one fan on their website.

“This is your save the Earth tour ... and yet you play in the middle of nowhere with no public transportation leading there. You owe us!"

What do you think of Live Nation's decision? What should Radiohead do? Leave a comment below...

  • THINK THERE BEING PRETTY DECENT, IT WOULDN’T HAPPEN HERE THAT THEY GET A TO GO A GIG OF THERE CHOICE FOLLOWING BAD RAIN. AND AS FOR THERE COMMENTS ABOUT ECO FRIENDLY ETC, WELL THEY WOULDN’T HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING IF IT HADN’T RAINED SO GET A GRIP.
