R Kelly Trial: Former Employee '110 Percent Sure R Kelly Appears In Sex Video'

A former employee of US R&B star R Kelly has said that she is “110% sure” that Kelly is the man who appears in an alleged illicit sex video with an underage girl.

Lindsey Perryman, who also identified the alleged female victim in the video, told the court in Chicago yesterday (May 27th): "I didn't want to think it was them."

Kelly is currently standing trial on 14 counts of child pornography for allegedly videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl. The R&B star has denied all the charges.

Perryman, who worked as a personal assistant to Kelly and members of his family from 2000 to 2007, said that she didn’t see anything untoward from her employer while she worked for him.

She was first shown the video by prosecutors in December 2007 and said that “the image I saw looked exactly like Mr. Kelly."

She added that she was “shocked” and “disturbed” by what was on the film, reports the Associated Press.

Kelly’s lawyers maintain that he does not appear in the tape and that the man in the video does not have a distinguishable mole on his back like R Kelly.

The trial continues.
