Kaiser Chiefs Ricky Wilson: 'Oasis Think They're Led Zeppelin'
More Kaiser Chiefs Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has launched a stinging attack on Oasis – claiming that his band are their successors.
In an interview with the Sun newspaper, Wilson said that Oasis had “disappeared up their own arse.”
“They think they’re Led Zeppelin. They’re not,” he said.
“Music has moved on and I think we are the band that most music fans would see as their successor.”
Wilson’s comments come less than a week after Kaiser Chiefs’ huge homecoming show at Elland Road in Leeds.
The performance, the group’s biggest to date, featured guest appearances from Mark Ronson and Ryan Jarman of the Cribs.
