  • Lily Allen made a surprise appearance alongside Mark Ronson at the Wireless Festival in London yesterday (July 3rd).

Sporting leopard skin leggings and a blue top, Allen appeared towards the end of Ronson's set in Hyde Park to perform her own song 'Littlest Things' and a cover of Kaiser Chiefs 'Oh My God'.

The singer appeared to be in high spirits during both songs despite failing to remember some of the words to her own track.

Ronson's set, which came just before the evening's headline performer Jay-Z, borrowed heavily from the producer's covers album, 'Versions'.

Other guests appearances came from Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess, who preformed a big band version of 'The Only One I Know', Wiley and Candie Payne, who played her hit 'I Wish'.

Ronson constantly referenced Jay-Z during his performance, telling the crowd that it was a great privilege to be playing before the rapper, who the producer got to know during his DJ'ing days in New York.

Daniel Merriweather was Ronson's final guest of the evening, closing the set with a cover of The Smiths 'Stop Me'.

    • Boring, predictable, and embarrassing to watch a white middle-class man in a suit telling people to bounce or whatever it was. Stopped paying attention really. Tim Burgess’’ appearance with Ronson was also pretty dire. Not so much Burgess, but why would he let Ronson murder such a good song?! Why do all artists Ronson covers agree to let him murder their songs?!

    • He actually said the words ’Out to the big homie Jay-Z’’. It was like Tim Westwood in a suit. I felt embarrassed to be white for a minute...then Wiley came out, the free Pear cider kicked in and Ronsons lame attempts at street slang were forgotten. Or rather just ignored.
