Razorlight and Amy Winehouse are among a host of acts who are set to appear in a new online soap.
The Secret World of Sam King, which will be fronted by Girls Aloud and also star members of Bloc Party, is being created by Universal Records.
The soap follows a young post-room employee at the record label with big ideas who goes on to turn new bands into chart toppers.
A Universal Records insider told the Daily Star that the cameo appearances of artists in the soap would be “tongue-in-cheek”.
The soap will air later this year exclusively on the social-networking site Bebo.
