Coldplay Fans Could Be 'Refused Entry To UK Tour Dates'

Following ticket mix up...

Fans who bought tickets to Coldplay's two concerts in Glasgow this December could be refused entry following a ticket problem.

Online ticket shop Ticketmaster has recalled 3200 tickets for the shows at the SECC after they were printed on “incorrect stock”.

Although organisers are hopeful that people will be re-issued with the correct tickets before the concerts, they gave a warning to fans who bought their tickets on the secondary market.

"It will be more difficult to replace tickets originally purchased through Ticketmaster and then sold on through the secondary ticket market.

“In this case, ticket holders should contact their point of purchase.”

The popularity of the secondary ticket market, which includes websites like eBay and Seatwave, has grown over recent months.

Earlier this year, an official government report into the agencies stopped short of an outright ban but called for tighter measures on the industry.
