R.E.M Forced To Downgrade Cardiff Millennium Stadium Show

To a 7,500 capacity arena...

R.E.M have moved their concert at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium later this month to the smaller indoor arena in the city.

A spokesperson for the stadium would not comment on why the concert on August 25th, which forms part of their UK tour, had been moved to the 7,500 capacity venue.

Existing tickets will remain valid for the performance, although fans can claim a refund.

The Millennium Stadium has been used to hold a host of high profile concerts over recent years, including performances from Oasis and Bruce Springsteen.

The UK leg of R.E.M's tour, which features support from Editors and Guillemots, also includes dates in London, Manchester and Southampton.
