Metallica Name Charity For London O2 Arena Show
Metallica will donate all ticket proceeds from their show at London's O2 Arena next month to Youth Music, it's been announced.
The charity, which is the UK's largest children's music organisation, was set up in 1999 to provide better opportunities for children interested in music.
The band's show in London on September 12th will follow a similar date at O2 World in Berlin three days earlier.
Tickets for the shows cost £5 in London and 12 euros in Berlin and are only available to fans who have signed up to the group's websites.
Metallica's new album 'Death Magnetic' is released worldwide on September 12th.
Earlier today, the band's drummer, Lars Ulrich, revealed that Oasis' Noel Gallagher was an inspiration behind his decision to stop taking cocaine.
