A new version of the video game Guitar Hero: Aerosmith has been developed for the Apple Mac.
Like the original, the game allows users to perform over 40 songs as virtual members of the band.
Aspyr Media said the game would initially be a software-only release, which means Guitar Hero III owners will have to use their existing USB guitars.
However, a bundle package featuring the Aerosmith edition, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and a USB guitar is expected to follow.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith has won high praise from games since it was released in June for Wii, PS3 and xBox 360 users.
The Mac-friendly version, released later this month, will cost $39.99. The bundle-pack will be $79.99.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Aerosmith are currently recording the follow-up to 2004's 'Honkin' On Bobo'.
