US rapper Lil' Wayne disappointed fans in Boston last night when he failed to appear at a concert in the city.
The rapper had been due to join Jay-Z, Ne-Yo, Brandy and Yung Berg at the JAM’N 94.5 Monster Jam.
According to the Boston Herald, Lil' Wayne was “unable or unwilling” to make his way through the event's security.
Jay-Z headlined the event at Banknorth Garden, performing with a nine-piece band.
Yesterday it was reported that Jay-Z had Lil' Wayne to his record label Roc Nation.
If confirmed, the deal would unite two of the hip-hop industry's biggest stars.
Lil' Wayne's latest album 'Tha Carter III' is the fastest selling album in America this year, shifting over one million copies in its first week during the summer.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Roc Nation forms part of Jay-Z's all-encompassing deal with concert promoter Live Nation.
