Songs To Celebrate John McCain's Election Defeat!

It's official: Barack Obama is 44th President of the United States, the first African-American to take the White House and the most powerful man in the world! Result!

While the hysteria is high and the celebrations are still in full flow, I thought I'd  spare a quick thought for his Republican rival John McCain who was resoundingly and rightfully trounced by Obama at the polls.

The pensioner will no doubt be counting his loses and wondering what to do with his days while Obama is seeking to bring real change to a much-blighted, recession hit country.

Our other blog is asking for songs to sound-track Barack Obama's stunning victory, while here it's I'm looking for songs to celebrate John McCain's seismic defeat.

  • Rightfully trounced? Get fucked, asshole. Big deal, he lost. Try to be gracious. You look like a petty cocksucker when you bash him. He was a national hero, after all, who was beaten daily for 5 years for his country. He's too classy to be president. Leave it up to the snakes.

  • Exactly. This kind of sentiment is terrible. Yes, Obama will make a wonderful president. But wasn't it nice, for a change, to have two quality candidates up against each other? John McCain is a man of class who has devoted his LIFE to service for this country. 'Rightfuly' trounced is petty, and makes the writer, Scott, sound like an uneducated hack. Go write for a high school paper where that sentiment will be appreciated by others who share your maturity level.
