- More Jeff Buckley
A collection of songs by Jeff Buckley, who died in 1997, is to be re-released in the New Year.
‘So Real: Songs from Jeff Buckley’ will include the singer's cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah', as well as other tracks from his 1994 album 'Grace'.
Interest in the singer has grown over recent weeks after 'Hallelujah' was covered by contestants on The X Factor.
The song has also been released as the first official single from the show's winner Alexandra Burke.
But fans of Buckley have launched a campaign to prevent the song becoming Christmas number one this weekend.
Buckley's posthumous 'best of', which will be released on January 5th, also includes his promo single 'So Real' and Smiths cover 'I Know It’s Over '.
The album was originally released earlier this year.
