According to the DJ, the song was due to be released but got abandoned when Dr Dre was forced to delay the release of his new album, 'Detox', until 2009.
Meanwhile, a source told MTV that the song was not supposed to be leaked.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Dr Dre was forced to put the 'Detox' on hold in order to work with Eminem.
He had widely been expected to release 'Detox', which was originally scheduled for release in 2004, before the end of 2008.
However, the producer abandoned work on the project in order to produce friend and long-term partner Eminem's new LP 'Relapse'.
Earlier this month, a new Eminem song, produced by Dr Dre, leaked onto the internet.
