Former Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan has refused to rule out the idea of a rejoining the band in the future.
The 45-year-old quit the band after 13 years back in 1998 and now performs with Velvet Revolver and his own project Loaded.
Despite some harsh words exchanged between himself and Axl Rose, McKagan said he still loves Axl and would never rubbish the idea of a reunion.
He tells Rolling Stone: "I certainly don’t sit here and go, 'God, I wish that’s going to happen.’ I don’t even know what’s going to happen in four weeks from now in my life so I’m not going to be one of those guys who’s like, '**** that, that’ll never happen.'
"It could very well happen. It would have to be right and it would have to be righteous for everybody and for the fans and it would have to be like a kick ass thing, or it would just kind of be sour I think.
"I love Axl. We’ve been through a lot of shit together and shit nobody can take away from us, no matter what people try to make of a squabble."
