Paramore's Hayley Williams: 'I'm Not Engaged'
Paramore frontman Hayley Williams has denied reports she's got engaged to her boyfriend, New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert.
Internet reports over the weekend claimed Gilbert, 27, had proposed to Williams in Nashville, and that the pair were planning a 2011 wedding.
But in a message on her blog, Williams insisted that the reports were false.
"Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dream. I had no idea I was engaged! I'm so happy for myself! “ she wrote.
"In case you guys have seen the post floating around the interweb, I just wanted to state for the record that Chad and I are not engaged.
“I feel so ridiculous posting about this ... but hopefully I'm posting enough in advance that most of you haven't even heard all this, yet ... so, now you've heard it here... the rumours are not true."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Paramore are currently recording their follow-up to 2007's 'Riot!'.
