This year's Snowside festival in Austria, which had been due to take place later this month, has been cancelled.
Organisers said the difficult economic climate and poor pound-euro exchange had caused costs to spiral.
They also said ticket sales had been slower than expected.
“All these factors combined have contributed towards us at Snowside having to make this very difficult decision,” organiser Rupert Wood said.
“Under the circumstances we are unable to proceed any further this year.”
Metronomy, Shy Child and Infadels were among the bands due to perform at the festival from March 23rd-29th.
In a statement, Wood said organisers would “continue to pursue our ambition to hold a festival in the region next year”.
