Kasabian have revealed that their new album is set to be called 'West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum'.
The tongue twisting moniker relates to the West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum, a hospital for mental patients based near Wakefield and opened in 1818.
The album is expected to be released this June and as previously reported on Gigwise is influenced by a range of other bands including The Rolling Stones and Daft Punk.
Kasabian will preview the album with a number of live appearances before June including shows at The Great Escape and for The Teenage Cancer Trust.
They will also play a short UK tour of intimate shows later this month, the dates are:
Margate, Winter Garden – March 23
Preston, 53 Degrees – 24
Leeds, Academy – 25
