Madonna made a surprise visit to watch Britney Spears perform in New York last night (March 11th).
The veteran singer arrived with manager Guy Oseary minutes before Spears took to the stage for a sold out show at the Nassau Coliseum.
Spears joined the singer on stage at a concert last year, but Madonna didn't return the favour at last night's concert.
The gig formed part of Spears 31-date US tour, which will call at venues across the country.
As with previous dates, Spears sang tracks from a pre-arranged setlist, which included songs from her latest album 'Circus', as well as her classic hits.
The singer was surrounded by jugglers, martial arts dancers and acrobats as she performed onstage in a variety of costumes.
The Circus tour will arrive in the UK this June for a run of eight nights in London and one in Manchester. Tickets are still available via the Gigwise Gig Guide.
