Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has claimed he turned down the opportunity to work with US rapper Jay-Z.
The guitarist made the remark during an appearance on BBC Radio 1 earlier today (March 13th).
Gallagher, who last year questioned the rapper's booking at the Glastonbury festival, said he told the Jay-Z: "I'm afraid I'm busy.”
Gallagher famously said Jay-Z's participation at Glastonbury was “wrong” in the build up to the event.
The rapper responded by covering Oasis' 'Wonderwall' at the start of his headlining slot.
The guitarist also told DJ Jo Whiley that he was a keen follower of the ITV soap Coronation Street, which is set in his home town of Manchester.
"Me and Sarah watch Coronation Street religiously. It's such an institution, that programme - why they've never asked me to be in it is really one of the scandals of our age,” he said.
"I could just have a walk-on part, a tiny little bit in Coronation Street would be brilliant."
