DJ AM is seeking $20million damages from injuries he suffered in a plane crash in which he and his collaborator Travis Barker were the only survivors.
The DJ's claim is divided equally between his lost expenses and crash compensation, court papers obtained by TMZ state.
DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, and Barker both escaped with burns after their Learjet careered off a runway in South Carolina last September.
The airplane crash killed the drummer's assistant, Chris Baker, bodyguard, Charles Still, and the plane’s two pilots.
Both musicans have now begun legal action against the companies linked to the plane crash.
