The brother of murdered Reggae singer Ian Newtion, who released a hit single in the 1990s under the name Scoobie Santino, has paid tribute to him.
Cleave Newtion told Sky News his brother was a “very kind, mild-mannered, amiable and very amenable person”.
"What is difficult is trying to imagine anything so violent happening to someone of Ian's personality,” he added.
Newtion's body was found with his throat slit in the underpass at Greenford roundabout in Greenford on Sunday (March 22nd).
Newtion, 45, had been travelling home from a party in Scout Hut when he was attacked, police said.
The reggae singer released a hit single, 'Cash Money', in the 1990s.
Yesterday, fellow reggae star Lloyd Brown described Newtion as “a very jovial and respectful man”.
Police have appealed for potential witnesses to come forward if they have any potential information about the incident.
