Fucked Up singer Pink Eyes joked about Michael Jackson's death as the band performed at the Glastonbury festival today (June 26).

A number of acts, including The Whip and Gabriella Cilmi, have dedicated their performances to the King of Pop, who died yesterday.

But performing on The John Peel Stage, Fucked Up's Pinks Eyes told the crowd: “So, Michael Jackson is dead. I know, I was wondering who he was too but apparently it's a big deal.”

The singer then sarcastically added “it's so sad”, before he bounded through the crowd to the back of the tent.

Other acts due on the John Peel stage today include Little Boots, Metronomy and VV Brown.

As previously reported on Gigwise, Jackson died yesterday following a suspected heart attack. He was 50.
