Three more people have left the Glastonbury festival after being diagnosed with suspected swine flu.
The two men and one woman from South Wales bring the number of suspected cases at the event in Somerset to six.
Yesterday, two students from Edinburgh and a child, who was with its family, were put into off-site isolation. They later left the festival.
Other festivalgoers who may have come into contact with the infected cases have been given anti-viral drugs.
Organisers had anticipated a risk of swine flu due to the sheer scale of attendees to the festival.
But a spokesman said the event presented no more of a threat than anywhere else. “The figure of three in 177,000 people is regarded as very low,” he added.
As previously reported on Gigwise, nearly 2000 people have already been treated by doctors at the festival’s medical centre.
Last year, 1466 people were treated during the whole festival.
