The Horrors and Little Boots were just two of the acts who braved the rain at the Field Day festival in London.

Heavy rain showers struck the festival site in Victoria Park on Saturday (August 1).

Other acts performing at the one-day event included The Big Pink, Temper Trap and Santigold.

You can see all the highlights – as well as the rain showers – on Gigwise below.

  • i had an amazing day down there even though it as bloomin well raining all day. the dance music in the bugged out tent and the smaller dance tent next door to it was outstanding (& i'm no amateur - woop woop). brilliant festival.

  • great little festival spoilt by the heavy handed security staff and the filthy pigs of the metropolitan police. Threw my mate out for having a play fight in the hay stacks dotted near the entrance. Four Security men literally picked him up from his feet and preceeded to escort him out of the site which has resulted in my friend having his arm nearly pulled out his socket and is in considerable pain even now. Note to Field day organisers is the large presence of security and police necessary ???
