Further details of the 'This Is It' film that shows the last recorded performance footage of Michael Jackson have been released.
Over 100 hours of high-definition rehearsal footage, which is set to feature digital sound, were filmed in total although the final film will last no longer than150 minutes.
The film will be shown in American cinemas from October 31 and will feature sequences filmed in 3-D as well as interviews with friends and collaborators.
In addition a film soundtrack, director's cut version and two special editions of 'This Is It' will be released through Sony Pictures.
It has been announced that the AEG Live concert promoters, Randy Phillips and Paul Gongaware who were said to produce the performances, will act as producers for the film also according to Rolling Stone.
Gigwise reported last week that a film which was set to include footage of Jackson rehearsing for his 50 date 02 Arena tour, as well as added extras, was set to be released on DVD in the UK this winter and expected in time for Christmas.
