Michael Jackson's family have issued a statement over reports that the singer's death has been ruled as homicide.
The coroner's verdict emerged shortly after the publication of court documents which apparently showed Jackson had lethal levels of propofol in his body when he died.
In a statement, the Jackson family told Us magazine: "The Jackson family has full confidence in the legal process, and commends the ongoing efforts of the L.A. County Coroner, the L.A. District Attorney and the L.A. Police Department.
"The family looks forward to the day that justice can be served.”
The singer's family have been vocal about the circumstances surrounding Jackson's death in June.
Joseph Jackson, the singer's dad, has repeatedly claimed that “foul play” was involved in his son's death.
Details of the substances in Jackson's body on the day that he died were contained in a search warrant affidavit, which was released in Houston yesterday.
The coroner's reported ruling of homicide, uncovered by the Associated Press, has yet to be confirmed.
